Danny Hart & Mondraker make history together again winning at Fort William British Downhill Series with Summum 29er

MS-Mondraker 2-time World Champion Danny Hart has won the second round of the BDS this Sunday May 14th aboard our first ever Summum 29er prototype making history, proving big wheels can also win DH races. Danny, who has been testing this 29er Summum for just a few days in the off season, decided to test it at Fort William last Friday 12th and eventually race it on Sunday. After the unlucky seeding run where he suffered a front tire pinch flat, Danny set an amazing and scorching final run winning the race and setting an all-time Fort William course record of 4.31.8.
In just 3 weeks DH World Cup will be held at Fort William for the 2nd round of the 2017 series and Danny and the rest of the MS-Mondraker Team will be there again trying to repeat this weekend success.

Also this weekend Markus Pekoll (MS-Mondraker Team) won his 6th National Austrian championship aboard his Summum Carbon Pro Team, Edgar Carballo (Vadebicis-Mondraker) won the Spanish DH cup race in Alcaudete, we saw XC race wins too at La Rioja Bike Race by Carlos Coloma and Jesus del Nero from PMRA Racing Team, 1st and 2nd places for Joana Monteiro and Mario Costa in Fundao, Portugal, Raiza Goulao, David Campos and Miriam Palacios won the 3rd race of Superprestigio Spanish XC cup in Tibi, Alicante, with Catriel Soto 2nd and Josep Duran 3rd new leader of the series.

Finally, at the EWS race in Madeira, Portugal, we had Matteo Raimondi finishing 18th and Vid Persak 31st in Elite category and Gabriel Torralba finishing in 3rd position in Sub21 class, first ever EWS for him. Congrats everyone!!
